Phillips + ebay = Love

In case you are interested, Phillips has posted its spring photography auction on ebay.  For those of you (like me) who are in need of a life, this means that you will be able to track the bidding live! Sotheby's used to do this too, and I have to admit, it was thrilling to watch the bidding progress on the $100,000,000 Picasso.  My interest this time around is in many of the new artists in the sale (Scott Peterman, Todd Hido et al) because often times the work doesn't sell, but by being able to watch the bidding, one can see how high the price rose before the lot was passed.
